OK NC Update #3: (01/23/17)

Dear fellow JCI Members,

Oplan Kaagapay is still activated for our brothers and sisters in Mindanao affected by the flooding.

Today, I just received report from RC for Oplan Kaagapay Southern Mindanao Hannah that some areas in Maguindanao are also flooded due to heavy rainfall since last night.

Please note that we highly encourage cash donations for easy and faster logistics. However, goods are very much accepted. In the event that we would like to donate used clothing, we ask the donors to sort it and fold it properly before turn over.

CALL FOR DONATIONS!
JCI Philippines – Oplan Kaagapay is now accepting donations in preparation of the relief efforts for the families and fellow-JCI members affected by heavy rains and flooding in Mindanao.
Based from the recent reports that we gathered, there are over 4,000 families affected including 19 JCI Members.
Please note that we highly encourage cash donations for easy and faster logistics. However, goods are very much accepted. In the event that we would like to donate used clothing, we ask the donors to sort it and fold it properly before turn over.

NC Update 1 (Jan 17): Oplan Kaagapay

A low pressure area and heavy rains caused heavy flooding in Mindanao yesterday. As of this report, the floods are similar to Ondoy levels and have not subsided.
With this, Oplan Kaagapay is activated under the directive of NP Hegem Furigay. Oplan Kaagapay is seeking help again from local organizations to gather donations for all victims of the calamity. We encourage JCIP members to prioritize cash collection/donation for easier and faster logistics.
