NC – OK Update #4-02/14/17
Dear Fellow JCI Members and Friends,
Isang maligayang araw ng mga puso po sa ating lahat!
On February 10th, an Earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 hit Surigao City and other nearby areas. It left at least 6 people dead and hundreds wounded.
Oplan Kaagapay is still activated to raise funds and collate donations for the victims of this recent calamity.
Because of the wide coverage of damages incurred in the city and nearby areas, our focus of relief assistance will be in the severely hit Barangays Magtangale and Macopa of San Francisco, Anao-Aon, Surigao del Norte where 219 and 220 families were hardly affected respectively.
While water supply was being restored yesterday, they still need basic needs such as canned goods, rice, noodles, over the counter medicines, bath soap, toothpaste, tooth brush etc.
For easier logistics, we encourage all to donate in cash. You may deposit it to the new Oplan Kaagapay bank account with the details as follows:
